Even when we receive devastating news, we need to engage the power of our five senses then we can plan ahead with sense and sensibility. When we engage our senses mentally and physically, we empower our body, mind and soul to take charge of our very own life challenges.

 

What is that smell? Do you hear that noise? How are you feeling? All of these senses are taking in information and sending it to the brain for processing.

 

So, let us journey into the world of sense and sensibility The ripples we create and those created for us to see, smell, touch, taste and hear.

 

Hearing - music, words that hurt, familiar noises all send messages to the brain to react. Our basic stimulus and response psychological make up. Keep in mind that the biological function of our ears is to keep our balance. So let us take the information and calmly maintain balance. We choose

 

“But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear "(Matthew 13:16)


To be touched by healing hands, the “Florence Nightingales” of this world. The sun touches our faces and we feel warm. A loving embrace from loved ones, the feeling of being cared for. 

 

From the moment we wake to the time we go to sleep, we observe, take images and store them into our various compartments for processing. Some of these images have a lasting effect on our mind, body and soul. What are you choosing to fill your mind, body and soul with - we truly do become what we focus on. Contamination comes from choice - in a world with shifting perspectives and thundering noise - choose carefully and guard your peace.
